Several suggestions from the Driving Team include the conversion from drum brakes to disc brakes, shorting stopping distance by 30%, as well as eliminating wide-based tires on tractors to improve traction.
RollTek Safety Seats
The majority of tractor-trailer rollovers result in driver fatality. BRT specifies RollTek safety seats on all tractors. These seats provide an advanced level of protection for the driver in the event of a rollover. Sensors detecting a rollover will tighten the seatbelt, lower the seat, and deploy side airbags.
